What is Melamine? Does It safe?

What is Melamine?

Melamine is a chemical compound that's organic-based and high in nitrogen. Melamine's heat-resistant and durable properties make it ideal for making strong plastic dinnerware such as plates, cups and bowls. Melamine resin is blended with strengthening materials to create its signature durability. Melamine tableware can be purchased in almost any color, design, or shape.

Is Melamine Safe?

Although some people are concerned about the safety of melamine dishes in restaurants, the FDA's Safety and Risk Assessment of Melamine says that the tableware is safe to use. The chemicals in melamine won't be transferred to your food if you don’t heat it to 160°F or higher. Our melamine products are 100% pure melamine and FDA & NSF certified.

Moreover, our melamine tableware can be washed in the dishwasher and can withstand temperatures up to -20°C and 120°C . Melamine can also retain heat and dry faster than other dishware.
